Even in normal times, building community is a key piece of successful early childhood education. Throughout my career, I have increased community engagement through scheduling classroom parties, planning school wide events, and establishing new programs like toddler & me, baby & me, and expectant parent programs. I organized staff social events to build connections amongst teachers and staff.

Now that many of us are functioning online, or are functioning in person but with limited parent interaction, community engagement takes on a whole new meaning and a whole new set of planning requirements. During Covid-19, I organized an integrated, online learning platform for children aged 2-5, including classes, stories, and online community events like pajama parties and dance parties.

These types of events take a lot of thought and effort. I can help you envision, plan and/or execute events to help you keep your community relations strong even if in-person interactions are limited.
